TravelVulture Best Budget Getaway Monthly Challenge
Eligibility
- Open to users aged 18 or older with a valid TravelVulture account.
- Participation must comply with local laws in your jurisdiction.
- TravelVulture employees and their families are not eligible.
Entry Window
- Each monthly challenge runs from 00:00 on the 1st to 23:59 on the last day of the month (UTC).
- Submissions received after the deadline will be entered into the following month.
Booking Requirement
- The trip must be booked via a TravelVulture partner link.
- Proof of booking is required (screenshot with personal details redacted).
- The trip must have been completed within the last 3 months.
Original Content
- Description, tips, and photos must be your own original content.
- You grant TravelVulture a non-exclusive right to display and promote your submission.
- One entry per trip. You may submit multiple trips in different months.
Voting Rules
- Each registered user can cast up to 3 votes per month (one vote per trip).
- You cannot vote for your own trip.
- Users may not use bots or paid vote services. Obvious manipulation may lead to disqualification.
Winner Selection
- Final Score = 60% normalized community votes + 40% internal savings score.
- Community Votes: trips with more votes score higher (normalized across all entries).
- Savings Score: we estimate how much you saved vs typical prices for similar trips.
- In case of a tie, TravelVulture selects the winner at its discretion.
Rewards
- Monthly reward: $50 USD via PayPal or equivalent TravelVulture credits.
- Winner's choice, subject to availability.
- Winner must respond within 14 days of notification.
- Unclaimed rewards are forfeited after 14 days.
Changes & Cancellation
- TravelVulture may modify or cancel the promotion at any time.
- Rewards already announced will be honored regardless of changes.
- We reserve the right to disqualify entries that appear fraudulent or incomplete.
